Take Your Curation Abilities To The Next Level
The certification program for an Area9 U™ Advanced Learning Engineer enables clients, partners, and contractors to take their curation abilities to the next level. Successful certification demonstrates your ability to leverage deep understanding of adaptive design principles and technical expertise in Rhapsode CURATOR™ to build complex, high-impact modules.
OVERVIEW
Following successful completion of the Area9 U™ Basic Learning Engineer certification and after gaining some real-world experience practicing those skills, many learning engineers will benefit from the Area9 U™ Advanced Learning Engineer program. This certification is highly customizable to be able to meet the specific needs of the learning engineer and the context in their organization.
The first modules are foundational, providing practical guidance on activity design, coach functionality, reuse and management of content, and setting course preferences. However, in addition to these foundations, learners have several different options for tracks and electives. Representative options in the general track include advanced topics related to graphics, video, exams, translations, readers, and various types of probes (learner interactions). There is also a specialized track available for those teaching mathematics.
In addition to the adaptive courseware in the certification, those enrolled will also benefit from the guidance and mentoring from an experienced Area9 Lyceum Learning Engineer, as they practice their advanced skills to build out their next learning module as a capstone project for receiving certification.
